Three business premises were found to have violated the Price Control Act, Chapter 142 during the 'Operasi Sepadu' conducted by the Department of Economic Planning and Statistics, DEPS, and the Weights and Measures Unit, SDT, Ministry of Finance and Economy, in Tutong District recently.

The DEPS issued two Warning Notices to two companies for the offence of not displaying price tags for several items sold in the business premises. Meanwhile, a compound fine of $500 was issued to Syarikat Perusahaan Cap Udang for not complying with the Price Control Act, Chapter 142, namely selling above the maximum price set for several infant formula milk powder products.
